Club Rules & Guidelines

Play Fair. Play Often. Respect the Game.

Welcome to Terramar Pickleball Club. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe, and respectful environment for all players.By participating, members and guests agree to follow these guidelines:

SECTION 1 — Sportsmanship & Community

Treat all players with respect and courtesy
No abusive language or unsportsmanlike behavior
Encourage new players and maintain a welcoming atmosphere
Resolve disputes calmly and respectfully

SECTION 2 — Court Usage & Rotation

Follow court rotation during busy times (paddle-up or queue system)
Games are typically played to 11 points, win by 2
When players are waiting:
- Limit play to one game
- Exit the court promptly after your game
Private games are allowed only when courts are not in demand

SECTION 3 — Court Reservations

Reservations are managed through PicklePlanner.
Standard reservation: 30-minute time slot
Maximum: 3 consecutive reservations per group
Arrive on time and finish promptly
Reservations may be released after 10 minutes if unused

SECTION 4 — Membership & Guests

Members receive priority access to courts
Guests must be accompanied by a member
Guest fees must be paid before play (if applicable)
Frequent guests may be required to become members

SECTION 5 — Safety & Attire

Proper athletic shoes are required
Shirts must be worn at all times
Warm up before play to prevent injury
Do not play if injured or impaired

SECTION 6 — Equipment & Facilities

Use all equipment responsibly
Report damage or issues immediately
Return shared equipment after use
Do not move nets or alter courts

SECTION 7 — Cleanliness

Dispose of trash properly
Keep courts and surrounding areas clean
No glass containers near courts

SECTION 8 — Events & Organized Play

Events, leagues, and clinics may reserve courts
Check the Events page for scheduled activities
Follow event-specific rules when participating

SECTION 9 — Weather Policy

Courts may close due to weather or unsafe conditions
Do not play on wet courts
Management may close courts at any time for safety

SECTION 10 — Enforcement

Failure to follow rules may result in:

Warning
Suspension of play
Loss of membership (for repeated violations)
